Seven Sisters & Friston Forest Circular Walk (Self-Guided)
A longer circular walk combining the Seven Sisters cliffs with Friston Forest, with coastal views, rolling hills, and woodland paths along the way. It’s a self-guided community walk — we’ll meet up and follow the route together using AllTrails (no guide or leader).
What to expect
The route starts along the iconic Seven Sisters cliffs, with wide views over the sea and a series of up-and-down hills along the coastline. From there, it heads inland through quieter countryside and into Friston Forest, adding a mix of woodland trails before looping back.
It’s a varied walk with a bit of everything — coast, countryside, and forest — all at a steady, social pace.

This is a relaxed, self-guided group walk with no guide or leader. We’ll meet at the start and follow the route together using AllTrails. Please make sure you can access the route on your phone.
Everyone is responsible for themselves, while also looking out for each other along the way.
Good to know
This is one of the more popular routes, so it can be busy at times Cliff sections are uneven and can be muddy or slippery in wet weather. Coastal weather can change quickly — bring an extra layer
