Bank Holiday Kayaking & Paddleboarding at Cuckmere

What to expect
Some people might go for a longer paddle, some may take it easy, stop along the way or just relax and enjoy being outside. There's no schedule and no pressure — just a chance to spend time together and enjoy a beautiful spot.
Book your kayak
Please book your kayak in advance here, or bring your own:
• Single kayak: approx. £18 per hour
• Double kayak: approx. £36 per hour
If a few people are coming, we can look into a group discount.

Community meet-up style
This is a casual Brighton Outdoors meetup rather than a guided activity. Everyone books their own equipment and joins at their own responsibility. We’ll see who’s coming through the booking system and WhatsApp and try to coordinate timings so people can paddle together.
Good to know
Weather dependent — any updates will be shared in the WhatsApp group. Please let us know whether you're bringing your own equipment or hiring so we can see what everyone is doing.
Water safety
Kayak hire, equipment, and any safety briefing are provided by the rental company.
Please follow their guidance and only go on the water if you feel comfortable with the conditions.
Stay in the loop
