A circular walk around Mile Oak and the surrounding South Downs, with rolling hills, open landscapes, and a quiet countryside feel just outside Brighton. It’s a self-guided community walk — we’ll meet up and follow the route together using AllTrails (no guide or leader).

What to expect

The route follows a mix of farmland tracks and open paths, with wide views across the Downs and a more tucked-away feel compared to busier routes.

There are a few gentle hills along the way, and we’ll keep a relaxed, social pace with time to stop and take in the surroundings.
