Exploring Stonehenge and Surroundings
At the moment, this is just an idea as Stonehenge is about 3 hours away, and we would need to start quite early in the morning to make the most of the day. Please sign up if you're interested, and we’ll try to organise the trip if there’s enough interest. It would be great to share lifts and petrol costs, but we can also explore public transport options if needed.
We’ll visit the iconic Stonehenge itself, then explore the surrounding areas, such as the fascinating Avebury stone circle, Woodhenge, and the beautiful countryside of Salisbury Plain. There’s so much to discover in this area, from prehistoric sites to stunning natural landscapes.
