Brighton Beach Paddleboard Social

A relaxed paddleboarding meet-up by the beach — a chance to get on the water, try something new, and spend some time outside together. This is a social, self-organised meet-up. Everyone hires their own board (or brings their own), and we’ll meet there and head out on the water around the same time (no guide or leader).

What to expect

Paddle at your own pace, stay close to the group, or just take it easy on the water. Some people go for a gentle paddle, others prefer to float and enjoy the sea — it’s very flexible.

Afterwards, there’s always the option to stay by the beach, grab a drink, or go for a swim.

Booking your board

We’ll meet at Brighton Watersports on the beach.

You can hire a paddleboard or kayak directly there — no need to pre-book for most sessions, it’s usually first come, first served.

👉 Hire – Brighton Watersports

Typical prices:

Around £20 per person, per hour (includes equipment and basic instruction)

If a few people are coming, try to arrive around the same time so we can head out together.
