Monthly Forage & Feast (Free for Members)
Join us for a relaxed afternoon at Stanmer Park, where we’ll forage for easy-to-identify wild herbs and cook together over the BBQ. The event is free for members, but we’ll share the cost of ingredients and possibly space hire.

About the Event
We’ll meet at Stanmer Park and begin with a relaxed walk through the surrounding woodland and meadows. During the walk, we’ll forage for a selection of easy-to-identify wild herbs and edible plants that are in season. You’ll learn how to spot them, how to use them in your cooking, and a bit about their traditional uses.
Once we’ve gathered everything we need, we’ll head to our rented outdoor space at Stanmer to prepare the food together. The plan is to keep it simple, social, and delicious — think wild herb marinades, seasonal sides, and a shared BBQ meal.
You're welcome to bring your own extras for the grill, but the main ingredients will be provided. We’ll have some community-style cooking going on, so everyone can take part and learn a few tips along the way.
