Brighton Outdoors is a non-profit community project created to bring together people in Brighton who love being outside, moving their bodies, and caring for their wellbeing. Whether you enjoy hiking, sea swims, yoga, or just relaxing around a BBQ, here you’ll find a welcoming space to connect with nature and, more importantly, with great people.

We believe spending time outdoors does more than boost fitness — it nourishes your mind and soul. And when you share these moments with others who care about wellbeing and fun, it creates a real sense of belonging. That’s what Brighton Outdoors is all about — building a friendly, supportive community where you’re never just a face in the crowd, but part of something ongoing and meaningful.

With over 150 active members and regular weekly events, this is your chance to make new friends, try new things, and enjoy all the amazing outdoor spaces Brighton has to offer.

About Me

Xenia BrightonYoga profile

Hey, I’m Xenia — founder of Brighton Outdoors and Brighton Yoga. I started this project because I know how powerful nature can be for both body and mind. Too many of us spend too much time inside, alone, or feeling disconnected. I believe that good food, fresh air, friends, and fun are the best medicine to feel well and happy.

Brighton Outdoors isn’t just another outdoor group. It’s a community where you’ll see familiar faces, build real friendships, and feel supported on your journey to better wellbeing. 

I’m passionate about the outdoors and wellbeing, with qualifications in hiking leadership, medicinal herbs, outdoor first aid, food safety, forest school assistance, and yoga teaching. I’m here to help you get outside, try new things, and find your people.
