About this meetup
Come along for a relaxed evening on the beach, with food, conversation and a chance to meet people from Brighton Outdoors. It’s a welcoming first meetup for new members, and friends and family are welcome too. We aim to meet every other Wednesday at 18:00 during the warmer months, on the beach behind the Peace Statue. Depending on the forecast, the day may be chosen by a poll. Bring your own food and drinks, and check WhatsApp to coordinate who’s bringing reusable barbecues and charcoal. A picnic is welcome too. Please sign up so everyone has an idea of numbers, and check the latest plan before heading down.
A little note
We often take photos of our meetups to encourage other people to come along. We share these on WhatsApp and social media. If you’d prefer not to be in a photo, just let people know.
A few things to remember
Please check the weather before coming along. If you’re bringing a barbecue, choose a reusable one, and take your rubbish home afterwards.
