It’s an easy-going route with plenty of spots to stop for a coffee or bring something along for a picnic. This is a community-led, self-guided walk.

We’re heading out for a relaxed riverside walk around Shoreham, starting from Shoreham-by-Sea Railway Station and following the River Adur.


Along the way, we’ll pass scenic bridges, unique houseboats, and open views along the water — each stretch with its own character. We’ll stop by the small tea carriage near the wooden bridge if you fancy a coffee, or bring something along for a picnic.


The route continues past Shoreham Airport, where you can watch light aircraft taking off and landing. It’s a flat and easy walk, ideal for a relaxed pace.
